We select, and use, materials that will stand up to extensive use over a long period of time. This extends from the clearly visible to those tiny components that are hidden from view. For example, we use the best materials, so that even the tiny screws of the pot resist corrosion, allowing you to use the same pot year after year without even the handles or knobs needing to be replaced.
Our skilled craftsmen make each part with a manufacturing and processing method to allow continuous use over many years. For example, the bottoms of all our pots are processed to prevent the pots' deformation. The pots' surfaces are beautifully polished so that they do not dirty easily, and when they do get dirty the dirt is easy to remove, thus facilitating a tidier cooking and dining environment. We believe that we can make high-quality products that can be used for a long time by properly performing those "invisible" processes and processes that would likely not be noticed even if they were not done.
From planning to mold-making, pressing, polishing, packaging, and shipping, Miyaco carries out production in an integrated fashion, in-house. For this reason, the quality of our products can be controlled each time, and can therefore be maintained to a strict standard.
Once manufactured, we strive to continue to create, over a long period of time. It is not a cycle of changing models every few years, seemingly making your purchase redundant right after you've made it, but a kind of care that values manufacturing a product that will last for decades, without making major changes, or at most making small occasional improvements to quality.
